In 2004 our group grew from a simple conference get-together. Originally organized to exchange ideas and successes, refer business and network — it has grown to be a resource for all Keller Williams associates nationally and abroad. Over the years we’ve masterminded real estate trends, supported national organizations, and continued to champion equality in countless ways.
We expand each year through visibility at national and regional conferences, local Pride events, and of course word of mouth. Today we are recognized as the largest independent LGBTQ+ group of any real estate company on the globe.
The KW Rainbow Network is an independent membership-based association of LGBTQ+ Realtors and professionals associated with Keller Williams Realty, Inc.
As the KW LGBTQ+ resource, the Rainbow Network takes pride in our company mission and unique culture with a commitment to build diversity worth celebrating. As an international network of KW LGBTQ+ associates, staff, and leaders, we are committed to serving our community with integrity, dignity, and compassion.
In June 2019 on the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, KW endorsed the nation’s Equality Act (H.R. 5) in a letter to the KW Rainbow Network and later Inman News and KW’s own OutFront magazine. KW Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO Gary Keller and President Josh Team extolled “As an integral part of the Keller Williams family and [as members] of the KW Rainbow Network, we owe you our sincere gratitude. Thank you for your contribution toward cementing equality and fairness as core pillars of our company. Thank you for your tireless efforts to create a world of acceptance. Thank you for representing the incredible diversity of our company and creating a community of support and inspiration. We, personally, are inspired by the important work you have done”.
Members of the KW Rainbow Network include KW leadership from franchise Operating Partners, Market Center Investors, Team Leaders, and Administrators and National & Local Coaches and Trainers. As well as KW associates in our growing list of countries abroad.
We also serve as liaisons between our LGBTQ+ members and our company so that we may serve our communities, clients, and associates at the highest level. Part of that pledge includes advocating for support, diversity and inclusion at every step of the associate experience.
The Rainbow Network Leadership Council is made up of a diverse group of leaders from across the U.S. and we serve as its Board of Directors for the independent membership organization, KW Rainbow Network, Inc .
